Default Client Connections

I set a shard up on my computer and want it open to client connections, but this is where i hit my problem i carnt seem to make it work.

Heres my setup:

I have two computers networked together. One PC with a dynamic IP (56k Modem) acting as network host, then a second computer with the Shard (connected to internet through host PC on a network).

Now i understand that i need to set up a no-ip account to deal with the dynamic IP so i dont need to alter the serverlists.cs everytime i connect to the internet.

Problem is how do i make it possible for people to connect to the second PC? (through the host/ network). Im not sure how to make the host computer direct traffic to the second computer so the shard can be accessed.

(Also i realise that 56k modem isnt goin to allow many connections, but this is a practice shard, and want to allow a couple of friends to access it)

New internet connection on the way soon!

Anyone that knows how to reslove this?

Thanx

You get them to connect to your master network computer and then port forward them to your second computer. Routers have this feature built in.

Read the instructions for your router on the website or in your instruction book.

After you have done that and know how to do it, make a support post asking us something your confused about.

Blindly asking us to tell you more about port forwarding is well sort of dumb

There is no way to port-forward without a router, because there i no need to forward your port if you have no router.

I wasn't being harsh, Dozen people a day ask about port forwarding, they expect us to help them like they are special. Well they know nothing about their routers and its very hard to help people like that.
