I installed RunUO, created an admin account and logged on via UO Gateway.
My fighter started in Britannia and the game automatically added a bunch of goodies to his bank acct. Ahh, the joys of being an admin, I guess. Anyway, I can talk to the vendors but when I leave Britannia there are no animals or monsters. There are, however, blood stains on the ground and skulls scattered about. I don't know if that is related. Any help? |

You never changed start locations to be per OSI
You didn't turn off Test Center. You didn't remove the extras from the character creation. You haven't spawned the world. You are in Felucca. :-> |

I didn't see any commands in the documentation for spawning a world, and there was no option for this in the admin tool. I tried [SpawnWorld and [CreateWorld but those were both "invalid commands". I used the moongates to get to the other regions (Malas, etc) but they had no creatures, either. I couldn't find any info in the doc on turning off the Test Center or changing the start locations per OSI (I am using the defaults). I don't know what you mean by "remove the extras" from character creation. |

There are no default spawners on the starting map & I have to add them all myself. Is that correct? |
