Default Error entering Britannia

I can log into my server just fine, I created a character, but when I try to start playing, the game just hangs at a black screen with "Welcome to Britannia" in the lower corner. I ran the RunUO server and then UO Gateway, what am I doing wrong?

I had patched awhile ago, but I'm guessing I need to bring it even more up to date, but the thing is now that I can't seem to connect to the patch client. I have the IP address that it's trying to connect to as 216.141.8.15:8888. Do I have the wrong IP address or is it another problem? Thanks! 8)

Is that the port the server is using?

No, I'm just using the loopback IP (127.0.0.1) for my server, but I'm trying to connect to the patch server. Which IP address is that?

Patch Server for OSI?

I have no idea, you will have to check the default file on your cd.

Ok, well I reinstalled UO and it still won't connect to the OSI patch server. Something now makes me think that you have to change the extension on the versioninfo file or something like that to make it work. Does anybody have any suggestions? :?

nope you don't

You might have to allow traffic on those ports depending on your setup.

Ok, Phantom, I figured it out, I did a search in Google for the error message - you have to edit verinfo and change the IP address to the correct server. The information is on the OSI site. Thanks for your help on that, but I have one last question :? I finally have UO patched, but now I try to log in and it says that the account doesn't exist. I created an administrative account, but I don't want to log in as that. How/where do I create new accounts to be able to log into?
