Default Doubt this is possible...

I am in the US ARMY deployed to Iraq at the moment. Been here since March. Things are settling down a little bit here and were starting to have more benefits and luxuries. My wife mailed me my laptop out here and my friend got one too. We now have a tent set up in our base that has a few computers hooked up to a satellite where we can use the internet. Here is my problem. We are networked with a rj45 cable. standard network cable. Nothing more. Just networked straight computer to computer. Now Sphere works...but RunUO will not. When the character gets created it locks the network up. UOX doesnt work either.
My main concern is gettin RunUO to work. I wanna have some kind of fun when I get a chance to. It sucks ass out here.

Thanks, good work btw .

Are you having the problem on both computers? The default serverlist should work in that situation as long as the computers can see each other.

I have known others to have this problem, but I can't remember what the issue is. Make sure you both are fully patched and I will see what I can dig up.

Default ok..

I found the problem. Or atleast I got something to work.
The other computer had a bridge connection so i had that computer host it. i can connect to him just fine. It works this way so we will play like this with him hosting. I must need to have the bridge or something
Either way it works now so thanks

Thanks again

Yeah thats showing up in Microsoft home network setups lately. I hate that bridge component. It's not needed and all it seems to do is make simple things complicated.

Anyway, glad you got it going.
