Getting stuck on veryifying account screen - RunUO

I have uogateway 1.8 and i have the latest uo client. Everytime i try to log into the server i cannot even get to the server selection screen. It gets stuck on verifying account and just sits there......doesnt time out doesnt connect just does nothing. Help me please if you can.

Any reason you posted this in two forums?

Anyhow to connect with the lastest client 4.0.1a you have to load the client twice, its a bug which has been fixed for the next release.
