Default ocean spawns

npcs are spawning in the ocean, and there is no spawners or anything, and they all are centralized in that corner of the ocean, weve tried wiping and killing them off and yet they still come back

If they keep coming back then there must be a spawner somewhere doing the spawning...

The spawner is probably in a location you can't see.

probably because it's under a ground tile (like the water itself). Go a few tiles up, do a [wipe, go a few tiles below the found spawner and end the [wipe. Then find the existing spawns and remove 'em. You should be set.

Found some more information, the reason they cant be wiped is that spawners are in the internal map. We do not use a xml spawner or a spawners system, we do all spawns by hand.

well it turns out, that if u have spanwers in ur bag, its considered part of the internal map, and makes them spawn in the ocean

cute. Nice catch there. I do the same thing, but have always set them inactive when I placed them in the bag. Guess now I know why! LoL

Once you place the spawner, and tell it to do a Total Respawn, it will (of course) remove the "wayward" spawns.

(Total respawn deletes all spawned mobiles/items associated with the spawner, and recreates them in the new location, with the new settings of the spawner)
