A good way is to look in-game at the process and order of which to cast a spell.

use spell, do animation/words of power, get target cursor (precast)
target something, damage target

Okay so you want to MOVE the get target cursor, so that its the first thing you will do, and use spell, do animations, and damage are after you actually target your enemy.

The easiest way to do this is to find out in the use spell method (i dunno its actual name), where the animations and words of power are, and move them to be INSIDE of the target cursor for spells.

Simple enough if you know what your looking for.
