Need Help Badly - RunUO

I am a complete newb to this stuff. I want to set up a shard that me and my friends can play on using UO gateway

I have played around with it a lil bit and got on a shard alone but I want some friends in.

I need a real pro at this stuff or jsut someone who knows how to set up a shard and UO gate way for me and some friends

Main thing that is confusing me is putting my shard as a public one. the server IP and router forwarding is what i need big help on mostly

I believe Phantom has an FAQ for that. Check the FAQ forum.

I think if you dont do a lil homework and read some things you shouldnt have a server anyway. maybe you should take the time to read whats here about it. all you need to know has been written and covered here many many times. so show a lil respect to those who have takin the time to make a FAQS section and have all that info you need to get a server runing.

I finally got my shard on UO gateways public listings but now when I try to connect to it it says cannot connect to UO. anyone have any ideas of the problem?

Yea i been lookin around I think either my serverlist.cs file is set up wrong or im using the wrong IP entirely. My friends and other people have been able to get on it. Anyone here also use a router and have a shard up they can connect to?
