Connecting to Sever

I got my sever up and tried to have a friend join but it jsut got stuck on connection so I went to my rounter and made it so people from the port 2593 could enter and join my sever. I told my friend to try again then he could see my sever name but now when he tries to join it justs says connecting. I dont know what is wroung cause when i look at me sever log it shows that he joins then quit but he said he is still connecting. Can someone help me with this?
