Default removing test center

i swear i've seen a post around here about removing test center features, can anyone point me to the post or quick tell me which scripts to give the axe?

i've allready removed the test center folder in the misc folder, i know that stops the players from setting skills, i just need to figuer out where the script is that gives new players items and edit the welcome script.

thanks ahead of time... the community that is runuo is as good as the application itself, both are amazing.

Try the FAQ's. There are some great walk throughs for the most common shard modifications. The link to the FAQ's is below.

found my answer, 1 by taking a second look through the faq's an 2 by digging through the misc folder. i'm noticing alot of really important scripts are in the misc folder, funny it has such a nondesript name.

anyways, here's what i've gathered on de-testcenter-ing a shard.

1. edit the shard name in ServerList.cs
2. change the greeting in WelcomeTimer.cs
3. change the starting items in CharacterCreation.cs

am i missing anything?

also, excuse the fact that i've not played UO in awhile and not really dealt with AOS before, but what the hell is silver for?

You might want to delete the TestCentre folder

or if you mean silver as in gold and silver it is for factions. Both silvers have been in UO since before AOS i believe.
