AOS help

could some one just give me the gist of what the hell is so different about aos? i see alot of references to aos mode and whatnot in the scripts, i'd like to know what sets it apart. take this comment i run into in charactercreation.cs for instance:

The list of differances of AOS vs NON AOS is huge.

To much to even consider listing it all.

generalizations, anything, if there are too many to list them all then what are SOME of the changes?

two things i need clarification on

what are powerscrolls?
i've heard damage is dealt differently in AOS, how?

i've noticed this so far:

requirements for higher armor types are higher, ie need 95 strength to wear plate.

Power scrolls raise individual skill caps and stat caps.

I do not know enough about the damage system to go into it.

Customizeable houses.

Mouse over objects instead of single click to see what it is.

Recall to other facets verses moonstones.

This is all I can think of at the moment.
