Being able to log on... - RunUO

Ok, ive managed to host a test server on my home comp, but I cant log onto it. I beleive that you have to get a client with encryption removed, but how do I do that, or where do i get a client that has its enryption removed?

Also, account wise, if I have to, how do i add an account? And, if I add an account, how do i give it admin privs? i have seen it before, but is runuo beta 12 just a log on and a account is automatically made? If not, how do i add my account?

p.s.(In the next release, can you guys include a readme file that tells you what to edit to do what, or a walk through to make a basic server? I looked throught the xml files, but i didnt understand sh*t. heh

1. I recommend UORice to remove encryption (others may suggest tools such as UOGateway, etc.); UORice (when executed from your UO directory) will create a no_crypt_client.exe which you can then use to log into 'non-crypt-client' servers so to speak (most emulators)

2. Accounts are currently created automatically in RunUO. The first person to create an account obtains initial administrative privs.

forgive me but I'm struggling with this also...how exactly does one create an account?? I a major Newb to RunUO

you can connect to the server as if you already have an account.
So the first time you can type in any name and password you like.

As an admin be sure to login as the first character because the first to login has administrator rights (server owner)

thank you very much I'm in now...but sadly I'm unable to figure out the very simple part of using the commands....what is the prefix needed...ie:POL used a dot and Sphere used a " / "
