I did search first (many times and every way I could think of). If there is already a fix out there please don't crucify me. I was only able to find one post, and no fix was given.
The issue is adding additional quantities to a locked down stack. Is there a change that can be made to allow this practice? Currently, the stack has to be released before it can be added to. This is quite the pain in my book. Any help is greatly apprciated. Thanks in advance.

What prevents another player from calling a GM and complaining that they dropped some items on the stack by accident and wishes to get them back?

I suppose that is a possibility. My response would be that one needs to be careful not to put things on other peoples stacks. Currently OSI supports the addition of materials to a locked down stack. Finally, I would say that is a chance I am willing to take, but I would still like to know what I might change to allow that. I am afriad I am totally off in where I am looking. Thanks.

I have to agree with MT here, even if thats a problem I'd say its a smaller issue for people to watch where they are setting stuff then the hassle of releasing things everytime you want to add to the pile. But sry MT, I also don't know how to fix it but I'd like to know lol.

It's certainly doable, but you have to somehow restrict who can add to the pile. If, as you say, OSI allows addition to a locked-down stack, then the first thing to do is find out who can add to the stack (i.e., owner, co-owner, friend, anyone), and the second step is to report your findings via the RunUO bugtracker.

My experience on OSI shards is that anyone can add to a locked down stack. I have learned this lesson the hard way. Given that may not be hte ideal solution for RunUO, I was not sure if it should be posted as a bug. Thus I posted it was a question on how to modify my shard only. To your point, others may not find this desireable. Thanks for the info. I can certainly post as a bug.

Im still searching for some help on this issue. I saw some posts in a different topic that lead to believe maybe basehouse was the place to look. Could anyone tell me if that would be the script to modify and possible the general area of wher to look in there? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am getting a suprising number of complaints on this issue.
