Not seeing any creatures

So I am running around on my shard after getting it up but I am not seeing any creatures. I see NPCs but no birds, or evil things around at all. Is there something I have to change to get them around? I haven't gone into a dungeon yet but I know that I should see some stuff around the world

you should spawn it, this is where creativity comes in, you can put what you want wherever you want.....
[add spawner
then [props your spawner....
set up how often you want them to spawn, & how far you want them to wander & how far you want them to spawn from the spawner.
double click the spawner & put what you want to spawn in that area.....& Bhow many......

you can also add to you landscape.......decorate brit bank........add to glo bank so that its beautiful...............if you wish to make your life a lot easier, download pandora's box........

If you already added spawners, make sure they are active. I did my entire shard manually, placing spawners everywhere! Then after I was all done, I forgot to activate them, so had to pretty much wipe them all out (was easier) and redo them. So, either check to see if they are active, and if they are, just do a full respawn on a few and see if that works.

So I have to manually place spawns for everything? There isn't like a default spawn placement or a random generator that will do it for me?

You can download pre-loaded spawns, but I found it better to do it manually. Esp if you are using a custom shard. Not very custom if you are using other people's spawn areas...
I am to guess that you did not place any spawners then? If not, then that is probably why you are not seeing any monsters and such.
Use:
[add spawner
then I would just adjust from that..do[props on it to adjust the settings, then after that is done, d-click it to add the monster types. Or, you can jsut use Pandora's Box do place the spawners (makes things a lot easier). You need to adjust the spawn rate, amount, how far they can go, etc, but it is not too hard to figure all that out.

Do a search for "Distro". I hear Nerun's got a pretty good one, and I know there are a couple of others out there that people really like. I custom built mine up from the ground, but I've been tinkering with the idea of starting up a second server just to try out one of these distros. Check 'em out and let me know what you think.

You can do a search for them. You might want to check the spawns still though. I did use one before, but I still had to touch it up a bit because I found it lackin in some areas, and too much in others.

Problems with Server

This is what I run on my server, and it seems to spawn great. Although it doesn't include the gauntlet, that's another script.
