game server cannot attach??? - RunUO

When I try connecting to my friends shard (which isnt public) I get past the username and password part... Then I click the little globe in the lower left hand corner with the shard name. It then goes to the general connecting part but will not advance any farther. I am sure this is a common problem and have looked into the forums to find something on it, but haven't. I have connected to the shard before, but we took it down for a while and decided to make it a project when school was about to start back up so we could enjoy the summer :P. Anyway, he has a router which has already been properly configured to allow others to connect to UO gateway. Can someone assist me in my problem, please?

What appear into thje runuo console?

I have had this problem before, except it was way back and I don't remember what caused it. It could be that your using the wrong port maybe (Just a guess though).

Hi ive just had this problem maybe a week ago.
All you need to do is check your IP in serverlist.cs is your current ip

I thought mine was right untill i checked www.whatismyip.org and it had changed.

Thank you for the help. I will let him know, I heard it was a very common problem with a very simple solution. The only problem is finding it hehe. I will let you know if it worked or not. I had this problem a while back also and I figured it out but I guess old age caught up to me and I forgot heh. Thanks for the help.

AHappyAdmin Join Date: Aug 2004 Age: 23 Posts: 55	Fix Hi ive just had this problem maybe a week ago. All you need to do is check your IP in serverlist.cs is your current ip I thought mine was right untill i checked www.whatismyip.org and it had changed. I hope this helps
