Client hangs when clicking globe - RunUO

I'm having trouble with a client attempting to connect to my server. I am running on WinXP (sans SP2) protected by zonealarm through comcast cable modem. Most anyone can connect, save for this one person. He can log in, but his client hangs when he clicks the globe, or the name of my shard. I believe this has something to do with his being behind a router(Linksys). Any suggestions?

Tell him to update UO Gateway, he is using an unsupported version.

I have spoken with him about this, and we both use the same version(1.9.1260). I am currently logged in my self, but his still hangs.
