Everytime I boot up the shard, the shard crashes. For a week now I have been trying to fix it, and no sucess. It would be great if someone could help me Here is the crash log:

Its your system.

Reinstall the .NET Framework 1.1 SP1

If you have .nET Framework 2.0 uninstall it, runuo doesn't support it

Nope, that wouldn't work, because first of all I already have that installed. Second of all, the shard has worked before, its just that now it all of a sudden crashes on bootup. I even tried reinstalling .Net Framework and have had no success...

Don't come here for help, if your going to tell us what won't work before you even try it.

Don't waste our time, with your problems.

Its one of two things:

1) Your OS installation
2) You have .NET Framework 2.0 installed, which isn't supported.

If you want to continue for us to problem solve your problem, try doing my suggestion, otherwise don't come back.

I'm sorry, I must have not explained it correctly...

I already did try your suggestion, I didn't say that it wouldn't work. It even says in my above post that I reinstalled it. My mistake, I guess, sorry... The results were the same. And I'm very sorry that you feel I'm wasting your time... I'm not meaning to... Just save yourself some trouble and I can figure this out on my own, I know that your very busy I suppose I never thought of it as wasting time, I'm just trying to learn more about this program and be better with it in the future! Then perhaps I can help people that are new with it as well.

I'm sorry for the trouble, I guess I'll just try something else! Thanks for your help, I appreciate it, even though it didn't work out, and I'm sorry that I wasted your time

Have you tried re-installing RunUO?

Are you using a port that is being used by another program? I usually only see this error when I try to run two copies of RunUO at the same time on the same port.

No, I'm not. The only thing I usually ever have running is RunUO, and I never have two copies running.

Well, then the only thing left to try is to reinstall your OS.

I guess so. Its a disappointment that I will lose all of my data, but at least I'll be able to get RunUo running again. Thanks for all your help, everyone!

Try the following:

1) If your using Windows XP reinstall Service Patch 2
2) Make sure you don't have .NET Framework 2.0 Beta installed if its installed that could be a source of your problems
3) Reinstall .NET Framework 1.1 SP 1

Do all three and your problem should be fixed. If its not fixed try to deinstall your network connection and reinstall it. If that doesn't work go out and buy a new network card. If that doesn't solve the problem uninstall any firewall/antivirus programs installed and get other programs ( they could suck and be a cause of your problems ).

If for any reason you don't want to do the following, don't, just don't complain you can't figure it out.

I am completely positive that I don't have .net Framework 2.0 installed. When I first downloaded RunUO I made the mistake of doing this, and yes, I had many problems. But I have checked many times and it is definitely not this. And no, I don't have a CD burner, but I was thinking of reformating some time soon anyway!
