Noob Question.

Ok tih s may have been asked more than once but I did try to see if I could search for an answer. I am currently running a server that I just downloaded yesterday.. now it verson 1,0 cause ur new versions arent available atm. But the problem I am having is when I log in I take about 4 steps and go in the ground lke im at -10 or something ... and then i cant move.... its really frustrating. Can someone tell me if something is wrong ?

Are you using RC0 or 1.0.0?

1.0.0 is the latest version and is available at the link provided.

Yeah I am using that version 1.0 . Here is whats weird. I did some more playing around with it last night. I can go to some place that is flat and run around just fine. I only seem to drop through on change of elevation. Its weird becuase I have been on other RunUO shards with same client and do not have this problem. I didn't know if maybe there was something they did for it or what. I did try to make a server a few months ago and had the same problem. Although I didn't put much effort into trying to fix it. Now I really want to get this done so I am seeing if anyone can help. So heres what I got:

RunUO 1.0 - This is just freshly downloaded. I deleted all my old RunUO stuff so I have a fresh copy.

Client 4.0.8a - The only way my UO3D folder has been changed is whatever UOGateway does to it.

I have no extra scripts yet. I want to try and get this problem fixed if possible before I continue.

The current client is 4.0.10b for UO. Try patching that and see if it helps.

Yeah I saw that on another post when I searched around a bit today. It still wont let a remote user connect. I will search around a bit more I suppose.
