Default Cannot connect

Hi all,

I've been having a problem with my shard for a while now, and I gave up on it for a few months and I'm trying again, but lo' I am still having the same problem.

Cannot connect to Ultima Online, please try again in a few momments.

After trying various things, including Port Forwarding, a straight out format, and other painful measures I am still stumped.

Port forwarding works according to Canyouseeme.org it can see my Port:2593 no problems, I am using Mr.Fixits serverlist.cs and I have used the RunUO serverlist.cs too both get me no-where.

As far as I know Windows Firewall is down, I go to the Local Area Connection that is connected to my Hub and ultimatley my router and I have made sure it is not blocked.

I am using a Zoom ADSL Modem X4 with firmware fully up to date.

So as you can see I've done a fair bit of homework on the matter.

I am utterly bermused by this, and of course more than a bit infuriated.

Am I missing something obvious?

Thanks in advance

EDIT: Just to clarify this is not connecting by 127.0.0.1 this is connecting through my Public IP which is NOT static, so I got a DNS from DynDNS.org, the DNS is noobieshard.servegame.org

Please feel free to try to connect, thx

Hmmm, yes most recent beta of UOG.... and I connect locally through it, maybe my router gets confused by me trying to connect to myself using the Local IP. Thanks for your help!

I just connected to your server and I got through.
The only way I/my family can connect to my server is through my local IP because some routers can't handle a loopback.( I spent a few hours on this myself ) .
Hope this helps a bit.

Yeah I saw you log in, and scrammbled over to say hi, but you'd already gone.

What I don't get is why UOGateway can't see me, and you and the soldierforture can

I have it working through my public IP alone, I don't think I have set up my DNS correctly
