Whats there to understand

Any files you patch, you have to overwrite with the files in your UO Files.

If you use UO Gateway or do it by hand, thats your choice.

I have not said that 3 times, I said that once, any support for UO Gateway should be directed to uogateway.com

Read their documentation if you need help creating a "patch"
