What?

That wasn't your question, you asked if you can import an item from a world save, the answer to that question its not possible.

Sorry for my bad english...

That i want to say is:
Runuo edits Item.bin, Items.idx, Items.tdb with new items, or updates items which was edit by a GameMaster(for example), or removes items, isnīt it? So why i canīt open this file with apropiate editor, localice the correct line from specify item or its properties and change it, delete it, create a new item or "save it" for other Item.bin, Items.idx, Items.tdb files?

Because those files are a binary file.

There isn't any editor that can read them, unless you write an application to read those files.

Why are you trying to argue this point, you asked a question, and I have told you the truth.

That is i want to listen ;]. Itīs posible to "interpretate" the binary file for edit it. A program which read, and edit those files would be very usefull for the community of runuo shards. To give back disappeared items to players without you need set them, for example.

But its not possible, its possible to read the file, but importing is alot different.

But if you want to try to do something clearly out of your level of experience, go ahead, I am not going to have a part in it.

On RunUO, items should never disappear unless they decay from sitting on the floor, being deleted with the [delete command or in a trash can, or there has been a serialization error in the item's script in the first place.... If players say there item's disappear on their shard, they're either not looking hard enough for it or they are straight up lying. On a side note, why would you go through the trouble of editing a bin file, when you can just add it to the game and save...

There is no other way to do it, you would have to write a program since that program doesn't exist.

Could also load the save, and make sure it exist.

Why go to the trouble of writting a program, when there is no point?
