Default spawning help

Where can you edit the spawn at for a specific area?
For example, the orc fort in the Lost Lands (outside of Delucia), has savages there, no orcs. I am using Nerun and XML..there are XML spawners on the ground there, there is 1 premiumspawner that has a savagerider for it..yet there are lots of savages there..I don't see how they "know" to spawn there.
I looked in the maps folder and in the lost lands map, this is the only reference to savages;

## T2ASavage
##
* Savagerider 5212 3619 0 2 5 10 15 10 1 3
* Savage 5212 3619 0 2 5 10 15 10 1 9
* Savageshaman 5212 3619 0 2 5 10 15 10 1 3

So if the spawner on the ground is only spawning 1 rider (I changed it from 4 to 1) and the map file only loads 3 savages...how come there are like a dozen savages there?

YAHOO....I figured it out, I hope...the last digit on that text in the map file is the number to spawn???

Ok, so if I change that...how do I reload that map..without messing up any other spawn?
