And when i try to delete the object it asks to delete all the objects of this type then i say yes and nothing happens it does the same thing over and over. Can someone tell me what to do to fix the problem please? Thank you.

Did it ever work? Emptying your save and backup folders might help if it has never worked (make backups if you have done something).

It is a corrupted save and removing it or replacing it with a backup might fix it but it also sounds like your hard drive is failing. If you havent done a backup of critical files, now is probably a good time.

I've had many new drives fail. I would just be cautious and keep backups.
Make sure your system is well ventilated and that you dont have a heat problem.
If the noises you are hearing sound like grinding then you probably dont have much time left.
