Stuck with the Main backdrop screen - RunUO

This is never happend to me but now everytime i try to log in i get thrue everything and then when its entering into the game the screen goes like this

What version is the client are you using?

Using Client Version 4.0.01 .Another thing is I can connect to other shards that arent using custom files as well...its just my own shard that it chokes up on.

You need to update your client to 4.0.11c

I'm having this problem also. I log in and everything goes fine, but there is no display to see the world. You say I need to upgrade to client 4.0.11c? How would I go about this? Do I just need to download the latest patch? I'm running AoS. If you need anymore information please ask and thanks in advance for help offered.

Yes you need to update, figure it out, everything you need is right at your finger tips.

Thanks. I was using my lunch break to try to get RunUO up at home and I got caught right there. I needed to know how to remedy the problem when I got home later. Thanks again and your information on how to populate the world in another post will prove most helpful. I've been playing with UOX3 for a while and it took me like 2-3 days to find and apply some data to my shard to make it playable. Nice community here.

You may actually find that you need to un-install and then re-install UO. Make sure to backup your macros file.

Actually, I had to do just that Quantos. I ran into a problem patching the client and my UO icon ran off to be replaced by a generic .exe icon that basically did nothing. It's up and running now. I'm going to try and fix some population data into the game tonight following Phantom's suggestion on another thread. I've only had the opportunity to run about aimlessly at this point. I'm still in the "young" player tutorials for a Necromancer and hell if I know how I am to infultrate the Crystal City. What did the Paladins ever do to me? Anyway thanks guys. Hope I'll be able to contribute to the forum in the future rather than ask questions.
