Default Freezing Statics

If I have something I'd like to freeze, how would I go about distributing it to everyone else? I'm confused about everything. I freeze it, and then what? Someone please post a guideline? Heh.

Use UO Gateway's patch feature.

I know this, but... As soon as I save something, where does it go? What is this "Static.mul" I have to do? I'm not so good with this stuff.

It goes to the DataPath you setup, where this is exactly only you would know since its your shard.

This is over a year old but should still apply. It also may answer a few of your question.

It was written over a year ago.

I did exactly as you did. I saved the DataPath file and then I restarted the server. It gave me a whole string of errors.

Okay, can someone send me the VerData.mul file? I can't find it at all on my entire computer. The server loaded up fine, but this is the same message I've been getting this ENTIRE time:

Also, with the exception of that one VerData.mul file, I followed your link exactly, Irro.

My server is PreAOS. Will I need to worry for that? Or is it still something I shouldn't worry about?

The client no longer uses the Verdata.mul sending you the file would be pointless.

Nevermind. My pathway was off by one, little typo. Funny how these things can change this entire thing around. :/ Thank you everybody who offered me your help, including Irro and Mortis for the guidelines.
