Default RunUO Update Problem

We would like to update our shard to the newest RunUO Version. Scripts are done. But we have trouble with keeping the items. If we keep the old items (deko, backpacks etc) server starts without errors but crashes after every save. What must be done to keep the old world saves to prevent these crashes?

If your shard is crashing because of save, then the scripts are not correct.

If I run the shard without world saves and a new one will be created everything is alright. Even if I delete items.bin items.idx and items.tdb and he has to create them new, it works with the save. But well we need the items...

Your scripts might work, on a new save, that doesn't mean they are correct.

If you follow this advice, you will never be able to fix your shard, DO NOT DO THIS.

Before you updated, were they the original files, if they were not then you need to merge your changes.

But thats where the problem is, so you either have custom code thats the problem, or you caused it.

We just tested it with an original version without custom scripts and deleted all items that player have in backpacks and bankboxes too, but still have the same crasherror. I have no clue where the error might be

The error comes from BaseClothing, if you just removed your changes, expect it to crash.
