Latest patch - RunUO

I just got windows xp so i may be missing some required files, but i downloaded uog and installed uose and tried to get into a server with the patch 5.0.1j i think is the latest patch, but for every server it will hang at "verifying account". Do I need to be on a certain patch level or something?

do you have the .NET framework 1.1 for WinXP sp2 installed on your pc also? might be why it's hanging and not connecting like it should be

I did download .net framework 1.1, but not sure if its sp2... i should go check. thanks for the help.

Thats strange i also just got windows xp but it works for me so u do have netframe v 1.1?
If u do then in stumpded

uo has been kinda glitchy, but i restarted windows and i could log in succesfully, though it did seem to run a little sluggish, in a way, when i mounted, i seem to pause every 4 steps. But it's better than nothing!
