i have orderd my dedicated server and not sure how i will set it up? anyone know any tutorials or reading material usful for a person ion my position? how do i add programs and run them?
any infos would be good, i got my server at servermatrix.com |

I would use remote desktop and ftp, makes it easier to put your stuff on the server.
Oh and I noticed the other day that when uo isnt installed it asks for the location just about every time I restart the server. I ended up having to hardcode location into datapath.cs. |

As I said above downloading is far faster than uploading.
Forget uploading uo. Log in with remote desktop and download it on the server comp from uo.com. If you only upload the muls you will have to do that every time you need to run uopatch. Not too often but there are reasons for it. If you have uo installed on the comp you can just run the uo patcher right there. |
