Ok, I've actually done the homework and read every single thread that pertains to having 2 shards. There are 1001 ways to tell someone that it's possible and not explain to anyone "how" it's possible. If anyone has managed to figure it out, I'd appreciate an actual answer to this. I have 2 computers and I'd like to run 2 shards, I am runing off a router so the IP address is the same, but the router does assign different IP's to the computers in question. How do you change the server.cs script to read that there's 2 computers?
Thanx

Just an answer off the top of my head, but have you tried using a different port for the second shard? Use the default port for the first, and then use a different port number for the second. That's the only way I can think of to host more than one shard on a single IP.

I dont know if this will help you but i run 2 shards with the same IP on the same comp. I use the mulit script , If you want you can run up to 4-6 shards at one time on the same IP . I am on dial up so it works really well with what i do. If you would like to try this script , drop me a e- mail and i will send it to you ( trydgeorge@hotmail.com ) my msn is trydgeorge .
Hope that helps you if not i am sorry for putting my nose in. Have A Good Day HAPPY EASTER TO ALL DAYMON |

If you have 2 PC's, you should have 2 different IP's for them, so i imagine just using a different port for each shard and telling the router where to send traffic should do it.
