I have search the forums for a way to increase skill gain in the Felluca Facet only. I had received many threads dealing with skill gain, but none pertaining to 1 Facet only.
What I wish to accomplish: In an effort to combat PvM players staying in Trammel and PvP players staying in Fellucca I want to double/triple the skill increase on the Felluca Facet in an effort to bring the Trammel crowd into a "free 4 all" territory. My Trammel Facet holds monsters, items, and quests not found in Felluca and gives all players the ability to equally obtain items without fear of being ganked/PK'd. The balance of this is an issue that hurts all shards IMO. I am experiementing with different rule sets and integrated additions to make both Trammel and Felluca a useable resource for all types of players. Cross-Facet quests just aren't cutting it, as the coding time to make each quests bounce back and forth between Facets is relantless. My question is where shall I look in what directory and in which scripts in order to code my above plan. I am not asking to do it for me, merely needing pointed in the right direction. Best possible spot to do what you want to do is in the SkillCheck.cs. You would have to add code in there to check the map the player is on then do the skill gain accordingly.
