Default Corpse Health Meter???

Here is something I do not remember seeing before! It just seems to have started yesterday.

When you click on a corpse, the loot pack opens, and, a gump.. a 'health meter' that is all greyed out and says 'Corpse' pops up.. You end up
having to close the 'health meter' manually or it blocks the screen for the duration of your play... making it very hard to pay attention to the action when seconds count... blocks the screen.. just horrible.

Has anyone experienced this before, and if so, what did you do to remedy this?

Thanks in advance for any help on this matter.

This is the client targeting system added to the client in patch 5.0.2. In patch 5.0.2a, you can disable the targeting system in the Options menu. You can also make a new macro and set it the predefined system toggle on/off switch.

I have gone through my Options menu multiple times, I have looked through the Macro menu also.. This option must be named something extremely vague as I can not find anything relating to a targeting system. This is not the silver target that appears on items that are clicked or made active.. I already shut that function off.. It is like you clicked and dragged the health meter from the corpse.. But you didn't.. If you could help further, I would appreciate it.

Phantom, I would love to find some way to give you more specifics.. I have no idea why it is doing this, or how things changed. It is completely annoying though.. Will update if I find something.

Thanks to both of you, but problem remains.

Default Hmmm This may be important.

Thanks guys, your hints helped.

I use UO Rice for decryption.. Hence I run off a no_crypt_client. Although my regular OSI client patched to the 5.0.2a, my no_crypt_client still was just 5.0.2... I had to delete the no_crypt_client (s), and run UO Rice again.. This fixed the problem.

This could present an issue because EVERYONE who plays on my shard will have to do this. However, it will be good for my GM's because they are bored.

Thanks again!

They can use UOGateway or Razor to connect to your shard, which will automatically unencrypt the client.
