Default Framework issues

I was downloading framework and it said extraction file failed. most likely caused by low mermoy or corrupted cabinet space. I looked at my memory and i still have 6 gb left any ideas?

That was 6gb of Hard Drive space not System Memory. They are not the same...

Clean up your harddrive then run a defrag.

A couple suggestions:

Try downloading the .Net Framework again... it may have been corrupted in transfer somehow... it doesn't happen often, but it can happen.

Clean up your hard drive a bit as Thistle suggested... I know memory is not the same as hard drive space, but the Windows page file uses hard drive space... the less physical memory you have, the larger the page file Windows uses.

Upgrade your system's memory... if all else fails, you may need more RAM... plain and simple.
