Default Few connection issues [2.0]

I can't connect with AOS to RunUO 2.0.

My steps:
0) UORiced the client.
1) Unzip the last RunUO.
2) Set Expansion = Expansion.AOS in CurrentExpansion.cs
3) Launch the server.
4) Connect with client.

Then, when i try to select Paladin in character creation it says that my client is not using AOS, and after creating "Custom" char, client hungs. Then it hungs every time after "Entering Britain".

What did i miss?

If i use Expansion.None, everything works, but without any aos features. What could it be?

Try patching your client?

Patch to what?
I tryed every client from 4.00 to 4.08 and same result, RunUO is claiming my client is not AOS and does not let me connect.

If you meant that RunUO does not support AOS, then why do it have that Expansion line in CurrentExpansion.cs?

The new client is up into the 5's. There easily could be pieces missing that you will need to have on your machine even if you do not use them.

For example... Let's say that the flag for AOS in the 4 version set was ageofshadows. Now, it may be isAOS, so if the server is looking for isAOS and gets ageofshadows, it can only come to one conclusion and that is that you are not running AOS.

Ehh, i really do understand what could be wrong there. I just need to know, is it a bug?
If RunUO 2.0 was meant to support AOS, then it is a bug.
If it was not - than it's not a bug and i'll be trying to make my own build for that case.

You cannot know that until you patch your client up to the current client. Frankly, in my opinion, I think you're lucky that you can even see anything on a shard with a client that old, but I admit to not knowing what parts of patches are important and not.

I do know however, that the likelihood of 2.0 being tested with a client under v5 is pretty slim and I wouldn't expect 2.0 to even care about a client that old. Especially since there is no way to disable or enable parts of UO that do not exist in an old client.

Default find your servers shortcut for uogateway

if your client doesnt patch correctly, it'll have a number for your shards patch files like c9 or something look in your uo directory find the number for your shards files and delete all the files in it then try to patch the client and make sure the clients number is the same like 5.0.b or whatever
