My Runuo1.0 server(with many third scripts) is running and stable for some months ago . But recently I found the UO server will be closed with no crash log, twice on week. It likes someone to close the server.exe task but I believe there is no one to do so. I can't post any information now.
I need your help very urgent. Do someone know this problem or can one give me how to debug the issue? What may be the root cause? Thanks very much. |

First thing, are you sure that somehow your entire machine isn't restarting and you didn't notice it? That's a long shot, but I had to mention it. Next, I would find as many anti-spyware/malware programs as you can and run them. A virus like infection would be my guess if it isn't a windows issue.

Yes, I am sure that there is no server restart and no unauthorized entry to my server. Becuase only task server.exe disappear but explorer.exe and IE browswe remains at same login session. If the server restarted, all front application should be shutdown.
Does Symantec AntiVirus software cause the runuo server crashed? Is it possible for the player client's illegal operating? Is there any debug tools for my issue? Thanks. |

Norton Anti-virus will not effect RunUO. I have been using it for years. As I said before, I would run as many spyware/malware removal programs you can find. I can't think of any reason that the server would shut itself down unless it was given the command to do so.
