Default semantics

ummm okay this is obviously a problem with communication.

i compiled the new core as of rev 108. (latest on svn) and plugged it into the rc1 released on 15 jun 06, latest listed on download page.

and that is the error that appeared. is there a new rc?

If I understand you correctly and if I am correct, you can't mix and match the core with scripts. They are both constantly changing in the SVN. You will most likely have to try downloading the scripts as well from the SVN and use them with your newly compiled core.

Download SharpDevelop or any tool of that sort, along with the Server folder from the SVN Repository, add them to a proyect, compile, be happy.

thanks for the help but he was right.

been gone a while and just getting back. previously i had only updated and rebuilt the core, the problem it seems is that much work has been done to scripts and i needed to get the latest versions.

for the record i have vs2005 and am pretty good at working it. i just didnt think about the scripts being changed greatly as they were. thanks for all the help.

TortoiseSVN gives you a nice Changelog with the exact files that have been changed from revision to revision... and if you have Winmerge, comparing the SVN scripts folder and your scripts folder should be quite easy as well.
