Connection problem - RunUO

others cannot connect to my shard Im not using a router atm and Im using port 1402 which is open I have DSL. I put in the name description ip addy port ect still no go. Aslo my serverlist.cs says

public static readonly string Address = null; not
private const string Address =

are you the people trying to connect using client version 6.0+,if so they need to use connectuo to connect.. i believe uogateway hasnt been updated to suport any clients higher than 5.0+.

are you using the latest version of ConnectUO?

if your using any client version above 6.0.1.5 ..they added a nother new encryption.. you need to revert back to 6.0.1.5 or older..

I dont think you can but im not sure...unless you made a backup uo file before you started patching....

aye flats is right.. if you didnt keep a back up of 6.0.1.5 then basicly may need to re-install and stop the patch at 6.0.1.5 before it gets to 6.0.1.6

I don't even know how to do that lol the stopping it b4 hand would there be anyway to get ahold of some one that can create a back up of theirs is that even a possiblity to fix this?

you just press the cancel button

as for the shard ill work on it see the problem and find a fix

lol reinstalling right now and pfftt! 31 is young hell my wife will be 30 in dec and I dont consider her anywhere near old :P btw how do I backup a patch lol

fairly easy.. change client.exe ..to client.exe.bak ..just by renaming it hehe
