Ive tried everything, connection probs - RunUO

Ok i set up a static ip. then i put it in the serverlist.cs file. I can connect myself, but none of the other computers on my network can connect, they all get stuck at connecting... and it freezes up. i also did port forwarding, but still no luck. i even changed the max ip limit. i have no idea what else to try.

Is your firewall maybe blocking the port that your using?

Also make sure your using the right IP address in serverlist.cs if it starts with 192.x.x.x thats your router or computers IP to find out your external ip go to IP Chicken

flats i followed your other thread on connecting and did everything in that, including unblocking the port, but still wont let others connect. i put the shard on connectuo as "bradyshard", and it says it is down.

Make sure your not using the loopback address (127.0.0.1), should start with 192.168... or 10.0..... or 172.16...

To find it (sorry if you already know this, just checking).. run 'ipconfig' in the command prompt.

Hmm if you forwarded your router ports & firewall isnt blocking anything and you followed the steps correctly it should work....but hmm...

Did you edit your serverlist.cs after you checked IP chicken to make sure you have the right address?

thats all i can think of now let me try to find out whats wrong...

Oh btw whats your router type?

Once someone trys to connect does it show anything in the black runuo.exe box??

im using the static ip that i set up, but i also tried using the ip that ipchicken gave me and still nothing. also nothing appears in the black runuo box. Im using a Belkin F5D6230-3 router.

you put the ip that ip chicken gave you in the serverlist.cs file....

i can't really seem to see whats the problem since your saying you forwarding your ports & firewall isnt blocking the ports and you edited your serverlist.cs file, made static ip....*Thinks*

Jst another guess but are you sure you forwarded the ports to the right IP address?? (your computers IP Address)??

could it be because i have uo patched all the way. and ive been trying to get on through razor, because its not showing up on connectuo.

yeah connectuo cant support version 6.0.1.6 or higher patches because they have to do some update or something so your going to need 6.0.1.5 or less to be able to connect threw connectuo so maybe that is your problem...

Open your client & under where you enter your username/pw it will say Patch Number #### But dont use razor because razor replaces that with its own text.

For the record some ISP's will block known game ports.

RunUO doesn't have support for the latest OSI patch. 6.0.1.6 is the latest client version that RunUO has support for.
