Public connection

I need help setting up a public connection. I have a winxp computor with runuo 2.0 I am connected through a dsl connection from bell sympatico. there is no router..this computor is directly connected to the dsl modem. I am using no-ip.com to get a static address and setting a port redirect to 2593. however my client says "cannot connect to uo" and yes i did the nessisary modifications to serverlist.cs does anyone know if bell canada blocks access to these ports? is there somthing I am forgetting?

I think i figured it out....if i don't have a router infront of my bell modem the modem does not go into "bridge mode" therefor i have forward the ports in the modem config.
