Post Server Issues

Alright heres the thing ive been through alot to try to find a way for ppl to conenct to my public ip through my network Hub but nothing seems to work and when ppl try they dont even show up on my server as tryin to connect. Ive followed all teh steps and port forwarding and such in the forums. Even went to no-ip.com and use there progrms and follow steps. I think iam close to gettin it, what i did was download a dns program registed and created a DNS host on there site so that it would be forwarded to my local ip i try alot and try creating a proxy to connect to the server but here is what happens when i try to connect through. Here is a pic of what i did...Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

I am by far an expert anymore.. But I ran into similar problems where client was getting a "encrypted client detected" message and it was because the player (and myself, also able to duplicate the problem) was using the very last 5.x patch (patch 46, version 5.0.9.1) and UOGateway is for whatever reason not removing the encryption properly. In my case (and the external clients system as well) I ran UO-RICE (latest version) which of course made the unencrypted client, altered the login.cfg to reflect my domain name, and viola! It works perfectly. Might be something check into..

Sure thing..

UO-RICE Official Site This is an excryption remover for the UO client (2d and 3d). Using this, and altering your login.cfg is an alternative to running UOGateway to connect to your shard.

Editing said file is easy. Simply put a ; in front of all the LoginServer's you see listed(since you don't want to connect to an official UO server), add a LoginServer with your IP/Domain name (you can use your domain name just fine), and the proper porp, assumedly 2593. EX:

;Loginservers for Ultima Online
;Do not edit this file or patching will fail! Always save a backup.
;LoginServer=login.owo.com,7775
;LoginServer=login.owo.com,7776
LoginServer=itsmydomainname.com,2593

Have no idea, to be honest. But what I can tell you is UO-Rice successfully removes the encryption from the client, allowing you to directly connect to your shard without any 3rd party software. Once you are able to do that (get on your shard!) you can always backtrack and master the reasoning behind why UO Connect or UOG isn't working properly, and rest (fairly) assured that everything is up and running, because you COULD connect to your shard.
