Second Computer Freezing - RunUO

I checked through the forums and did not find an answer.

I have just set up my shard and can login just fine. My wife can login but freezes almost immediately.

Obviously I am doing something wrong but have been over everything several times and just can't seem to figure it out.

We run 2 computers through a router. I have hers pointed to my computer (192.168.15.2) and like I said she connects just fine. It is strange. She is frozen but if you dbl-click somewhere the "pathfinding” tag comes up.

Any help would be appreciated.

Questions For Your:

- What Client version is you and your wife using?
- What client is the server running on?
- What RunUO version are you using?
- What kind of net connection and comp specs do you have?

Thank you, your question solved my problem.

I loaded both computer at the same time and then patched them both. For some reason mine did not patch past 5.0.8.3 and hers went to 6.?.?.?. I just copied mine to hers and we are in business.

I'll have to figure out how to get a good client to my players by the time I go live.

Ah alright i figured that was the issue here is my suggestion, patch server computer to only 5.0.9 and ur wifes as well. Trust me 5.0.9 is easier to manage untill u feel like upgrading!!

what did you copy to your wives comp? the whole UO directory? or just the Patch folder.

bump. im having the same problem? "copied mine to hers". what exactly did you do to fix this problem.
