You mentioned that you also play on the real servers so keep in mind that clients over 6.0.1.7 are only supported in more recent RunUO 2.0 SVN server builds, it will not work with RunUO 1.0 or RunUO 2.0 Rc1. |

If you need to play the 2d client on the real servers and on private ones you will need to upgrade to the latest RunUO SVN to allow for clients over 6.0.1.7 to conect. Another option I guess would be to downgrade your 2d client to 5.0.9.1 and use the KR client on the real servers.
The code found in the SVN will eventually be released as RunUO 2.0 RC2, if you can't wait for that your only options are to downgrade your client, compile your own SVN exe, or get a precompiled version. SVN Topic: RunUO 2.0 SVN open to public, Update on 2.0 Release Easy Compile Guide: Easy how to compile new server...... Tortoise SVN: tortoisesvn.tigris.org There are lots of topics around with SVN compile help if you need more help. |

For the SVN I have a folder on my c: drive named runuo. I use tortoise svn to download the updates. It looks like c:\runuo\Server c:\runuo\Data c:\runuo\Scripts You only need to compile the server folder from the svn, you don't have to include the scripts or data folder items in your build. You only need them when running the server. |

Here is a good guide: HowTo: Use Tortoise SVN Once Tortoise SVN is installed and enabled make yourself a runuo folder, right click on it and choose Tortoise SVN or whatever the new context menu option is. Choose checkout, and enter the URL of the RunUO SVN repository. Code:
http://svn.runuo.com/repos/runuo/devel/]Revision 264: /devel Once you have those all you should have to do is either compile the server exe yourself or get a precompiled one. Also keep in mind you don't need to use RunUO SVN if you are dealing with clients 6.0.1.6 or lower. RC1 will work fine for that. If you have not patched up then you don't need to be doing any of this just to run your own server. Last edited by stormwolff; 11-16-2007 at 12:52 PM. |

As an alternative Mark says you can compile it with just the .net framework in this topic: http://www.runuo.com/forums/server-s...clean-svn.html This is a helpful guide to compiling with VS 2005: Easy how to compile new server...... Another Option is that you can download a pre-compiled version from Arte's XmlSpawner site: XMLSpawnerFan -> Latest RunUO 2.0 server - rev 264 Also in case you need it here is a link to the zlib32 that needs to be in your RunUO folder: http://www.runuo.com/mark/zlib32.dll |
