UOML Patch - RunUO

Any ideas why My client wont patch past:
5.0.8.1 (patch 40)
It keeps gettin an error after that!
I haev tried everything to fix this, reinstalling up, reinstaling windows, scandisks, defrag, nothin!
any clues I would greatly appreciate!

Im not sure in this one, but anywhere between client 5 and 6 they've also updated the uopatch.exe so you cant use this to patch all through. You explicitely have to start UO with 'UO.exe'

No, just start UO with UO.exe instead of uopatch.exe.
That should do fine.

Has your logon.cfg been changed??

Otherwise, uninstall, DELETE the FOLDER, re-boot, and re-install. (NOTE: If it doesn't patch at all after the re-install, it's probably a firewall issue.)

check patch folder in game directory too, delete anything in there, it should be empty otherwise that stops it patching too.

Up to a certain point they disabled the old 3D client where you had to click the OK option to start the game, instead that triggered the next part to patch beyond that. Not sure at what patch that happens tho but it might be around that client number you mentioned.

ime having the same problem with ML run UO cant find it and i get this error

any ideas
