Exclamation Doom Gauntlet Wall Blocked Osi Patch 6.0.5.0

Also in Doom Gauntlet from patch 6.0.5.0 where you go thru the wall to run across to steal the Ruined Painting Artifact they blocked it now it has a wall so for me to fix that i had to put 2 teleporters so players can get thru and replaced the client 6.0.5.0 to client 6.0.4.0 but still see the new stuff they decorated with 6.0.5.0 with me switching to client 6.0.4.0 to be able to log on.

sorry for OT but how u change the core to allow login from 6.0.5.0 client ?

the wall isn't blocked, i am patched to the latest OSI patch and the only thing different i noticed is the wall wont open if your hidden.

The Latest Patch is 6.0.5.0 and it is blocked with wall i did this unhidden you see the image opening but right where opening should be is a wall.

Question

I am also getting a wall in the way!!! Anyone have any answers on how to fix this BIG problem???? It sounds like it will take some core mods ?? Any suggestons would be great! Thanks

Default client 6.05.0

im using the latest client as well, you can see the opening in the wall but there is a invisible wall in the way, i fixed by placing a teleporter on both sides to tele you to each side of the wall, players cant even tell the teleporters are there. still using the latest client as well. I like the new deco in the gauntlet.

Well I would have to agree with they post above me. I also put teleporters there and you would not even notice if you place them right. hope they do have a fix someday for it though.

another fix would be to edit the malas map or whever the doom dungeon resides using a map editor...remove the static wall...the once done go in and add a secret door that looks like a wall.. no teleporter needed

I think that would require a patch to players connecting, so if you dont use patches for your shard then teleporters would be the way to go.

If you patch up to 6.0.6.0 the wall has been removed so now its back to the way it was before oh and btw Latest Patch today is 6.0.6.1

Thanks for the info guys. One question though ? Does the latest SVN support the newest patches ?? And also other than going to 6.0.6.0 for the wall reason, is there any reason to upgrade any further patchs? It just seems to me (and well i dont know that much) that they would be about done updateing the osi client patch (ea) ?? Does anyone think there will be much of a point to keep updating aside from maybe some different deco or things like this????? Thanks in advance for all the input I do appreciate it alot.

Lightbulb Actually I Think It Pays Off...

EA patched the client yet again today and it solves the rubber banding issue that I was getting on my server. For some reason every time I walked around on my server I felt like I was skipping a step... well this new patch fixes that. I'm sure other patches will fix minor issues such as that, so yes I think patching the client makes sense.


Another 2 cents worth of advice! I haven't reached a buck yet???
