What to patch to? - RunUO

I just wanted to play uo, and i downloaded connectuo and had my client patched to 5.0.6e, what I heard we had to go to a while ago. I decided that everything seems updated and I would patch fully. I'm now at 6.0.5.0. and whatever shards I try to play on don't work, they get stuck at 'verifying account'. this is the problem i used to be trying to avoid by staying at 5.0.6e. So uh, is there any way to get past this 'verifying account' place and actually play?

6.0.5.0 also requires shards to update their core with changes made in the latest SVN. You can try a reinstall and only patch up to 6.0.1.6 to be compatible with most shards as 6.0.1.7 also required a core change.

How do you patch only to a certain revision?

Just click 'Stop' at the right time, i.e. when you see it downloading the patchfiles you do *not* want anymore.
