Server Creation Problems - RunUO

How do I set a destination for characters to start at after they've created a character
also, I was wondering how I can make it so all characters start with the same stat level and skill level
And is there a way to make it so they can only stay within certain towns, like 2-3 at most.
and I was wondering, if I didn't have all skills set to one point, is there a way to make it so they gain skill a lot faster then the normal UO servers.
I tried installing UO and patching it, even though I won't be using the payed online time, when I turned on Runuo, it wouldn't allow me to connect to the account I created.
Lastly, I was curious as to what is going with Uogateway.com, did the owner change the name of the site or is there an entirely different site that I could use to make my server public.

RunUO Basic Scripts

uogateway is gone, connectuo.com does the same however they currently have an outage, you can use razor to login try a google search for it.

When I installed connectuo it opened up to a "crash error" and it didn't show any shards.

Also, I'm trying to figure out how to make my shard public.

Go to the forums on connectuo.com and read there, has all information of how to fix the crash issue with it and it does work.
As to getting your shard public, this will be hard other then word of mouth or posting ip on your forums for shard or website.
As of yet connectuo does not update ip changes nor does uogateway- my shard has been dead due to this for months now, since one day I had ip change (which hardly ever happens) and not having a source to change it .

As to starting point for players, go down to facts and questions, alot of great information there for starting a new shard
