i have tried for hours to get a friend to connec to my shard.
We both installed ultima online 9th. he is patched to 6.0.9.2 patch70 i am patched to 5.0.8.1 patch40 When i try to patch furthur it says error during session. my ip is 99.251.127.56 when i run my server is shows address of 192.168.0.118:2593 We both use razor, latest version as far as we know. We tried it over wireless. He has a wirelss router and we both have wiresless comps. He put into razor to connect to 192.168.0.118. It goes to "verifying account" and the times out. We went into his wireless router settings and port forwarded using portforward.com (router is a smc8014w-g_ putting in 118 into the initial box. I tried the "make your ip static" here PortForward.com - Free Help Setting up Your Router or Firewall. but when i got to put in the new address, i tried 192.168.0.xx (xx being any number). i also tried 192.168.1.xx. and it says "invalid address". all firewalls are off. There are so many variables here and so many things we could be doing wrong. we also have a regular router and tried connecting directly with LAN without success. any help is appreciated. The best is for someone to chat with me over msn and help me out. my msn is cohenc00@hotmail.com. PLEASE HELP! thanks. |

We did the port forwarding using this website
PortForward.com - Free Help Setting up Your Router or Firewall Static IP. HERES THE PROBLEM. I follow the instructions to make a static IP, but when it comes down to putting in an IP address, ANYTHING i put it it says "Invalid Address". Im also using Windows Vista. |
