seem's player's have found out how to stack explo pot's to instantly kill another player.. is there any way possible to add a delay on how often u can use an explo pot?
NOTE: i am such a newb to scripting, calling me a newb would accually compliment me. but if anyone would be willing to write me a nice lil step by step to get the delay to a reasonable value i would greatly appriciate it. |

actualy what they are probably doing is placing a bunch there, and then detonating them all with just 1 of them
in the explosion pots scripts is a variable for true/fale if they detonate others in the area - set it to false

Well, sort of... what accually happens is say a person is afk or stationary in a spot for any length of time they can just sit there and use the countdown to time there explo pot's to a point where an explo pot hit's every second... not sure on the exact timing due to the fact my shard is still in testing phase.
I know on some shards they put a timer on Gheal potion's where u can only d-click one ever minute or so... i am wondering if there is a way i can do the same thing with these Explo pot's and cure's. I want to make the game as even as possible and if dexxer's get a hold of this godly power to use Gheal pot's instantly after using one then there's no way anyone can beat them and that makes them too overpowering for people who play mages. The whole thing is i want people to choose what they want to play instead of being forced to play a certien class due to the variables of the game... and plus it makes it more enjoyable to the player's imo. Thanks for the input guys... i'll try what you guys have posted and come back with some info on if it solved my problem or not... if you think of anything else i am open to new idea's and really wanting some Senior Player's input on the game mechanic's and things to look out for to make a wonderful shard for everyone to play on.

So you can fix it allowing them to dclick only once the explo bottle (they activate it.. they must throw it!). With easyuo/inj script you can activate all bottles and then "reuse" them instead (they are already activated but when you dclick it again appears, again, the target, so you can throw all of them in a small amount of time). |
