WG: I'm deffinately thinking your system/vid card/drivers are at fault... First you had problems with Iris, now this

(UO3D works great here... Just can't stand the proportions or extra 4 seconds of worldsave I get when using it on the server machine)

No this machine is the one Iris did work on.

This also happened when I installed it on a friends machine.

Weird weird weird.

I just tested it on my other two machines (The spare-parts-for-nephews-and-neices-to-play-on-so-they-don't-mess-THIS-machine-up computers), and it works fine on both of those as well. (UO3D, not Iris... They're too slow ;->)

*sigh* yeah I know the feeling... I am thouroughly unamused at Origin for throwing this client on the market like that.

Display bugs, ingame crashes, incompatabilities, latencies you name it 3d has it.

If I had written that piece of software I would use the money I earned with it and change my name to avoid getting killed by an angry mob of pks crafters and anti pks :P

Off what CD did you install it from? I know if I use the 3rd Dawn CD my graffix are all jacked up but if I install it off the LBR CD or AOS it runs smooth no problems

I had to dig out a very very very old Nvidia driver for my Gforce to get it to run decently. I was frustrated for days and origin tech support is about as capable as a fish on land hehe

I tried it on my computer and never had a video problem like that... but it still lags like motherF@#k. I'm not surprised it did something like that. I've seen some of the wierdest display bugs in my time... hell, Opera is screwing up on my as I type. But that's because I have low memory. :P

I swear by ancient and non-official drivers for video cards these days... they always work so much better :P

Guys patched clients are the same.

Patched AOS Third Dawn client is the same client as a Patched LBR client or the original Third Dawn release client patched.
