Stupid B.Net - RunUO

Lately I've been getting tons of connection problems with Battle.net.

Everytime I turn on Diablo 2 and try to connect to B.net it either tells me right away that it can't connect or it gets stuck at the Accessing Account screen for a while then it tells me it can't connect.

I've tried everything to fix the problem, including connecting my comp directly to my cable modem and reinstalling diablo 2 and I still can't connect. I tried to connect to b.net in other ways by trying to connect through Starcraft and it won't let me do that either!!!

Has anyone else ever had this problem? If so, how did you fix it?

Have you tried the Blizzard or Battle.Net sites or fourms?

Sounds like you got ipbanned, Battle.net servers are hostile and will ban you for something like 6-24 hours if you send them an invalid packet or such. Some bugs in Diablo II can cause this to happen.

It could be though, but I dunno why I would have been banned. Before the problem occured, people on my friend's list said their list said I was offline when I was really online and a little while later I was booted for idling (I was idling). Maybe I encountered some kind of bug and it ip banned me.

Anyways, it doesn't matter now since it's all fixed.

I backed up my discs with Nero :< and Diablo one doesnt have a cd keycode!

Since the ladder reset, ive been playing pretty much constant. On east, softcore.

Level 73 shape shifting druid
Level 73 skele necro
Level 76 trap-assasin
Level 73 cold sorc

And a couple mules. So far. Yey 4 D2!

Yea, 45 in hell. It really sucks, I can hardly even hit a quill rat!

<edit>One of my friends has a sorcs at level 24 in hell!

1-2 months into diablo 2 when it first came out (non-exp)

Ooops, the 1-2 months was ment for the first set of characters, the second set i made after some patch that was suppose to stop the duplication/hacking of items.

I think the fastest i got a character to level 99 was in 2 and a half days.

I simppply got rushed all the way thru norm/nm/hell and then just sat in hell cow games.
