Great work I´m playing with this music once again but there was no need to delete the new music, you coul have simply created a new config file with the names of the songs.

btw do you know you can put more than one mp3 for an action and it´s choose radomly?

for example:
38 goodevil,loop combat1, loop

I think it was that way... I read it a long time ago in the uo forums before they get rid of them... I never found that info again (I haven´t found it in stratics either).
Also, not sure if there is a limit in how many mp3 you can put there... gotta try someday hehe

Of course I knew this. I was talking to Ryan when I first put it up about making a custom .cfg for the intros and whatnot (since old UO doesn't play the Char Creation loop at boot, it plays Stones, then CHANGES to Char Creation, etc)

I did it THIS way for convenience to players. Copy in, and you're done.

These files do NOT EXIST in UO. This is why I made them.

In AOS and prior, there were optional MIDI files (which these are based on), but unless you had a DAMN good synth/soundfont/patch, they sounded OK at best.

SE (and presumably newer) do not include the MIDI files at all anymore.

These are MP3s that replace the MP3s in the Digital folder. These are the ORIGINAL UO MIDIs converted to MP3 (with a damn fine soundfont, I might add) , not the Ultima 9 MP3s that UO includes now.

This is for those who prefer the old music to the new and/or do not have the MIDIs anymore (or a decent patch/synth/soundfont)

Hmm, all I did was rename the old midi files to the mp3's and they played the midis, and the midis DID actually sound pretty good, I don't know what you're talking about.

Now I need to go install an old copy of UO or find the MIDI files and see if I can make my own MP3s out of them... I have a 180 meg soundfont on my harddrive I think might sound good. (At least it sounds good with U7's midis)

Yeah yeah ok, lots of people use SE...but wouldn't these same people have already bought AoS before then? They could just use the midis from that... bah, why bother continuin the arguement. Good job psz, I haven't heard em yet but I assume they sound great. :P
